Football:
Bnei Saknin have secured the signing of Spanish center back  Abraham Paz. The 34-year-old Paz who played last season for Spanish Segunda side CE Sabadell joined Saknin on a 1 year deal. Other teams that Paz has played for in the past in Spain include Cartagena, Hercules, Portuense and Cadiz. His signing for Bnei Saknin means that it is the first time that Paz will leave Spain to join a club.

Israeli national team attacking midfielder Lior Refaelov started and played 75 minutes as his team Club Brugge of Belgium lost 1-0 to the Manchester United Reserves in a pre-season friendly last night. Refaelov had a good game though as he got the first chance of the game after receiving a perfect pass from Jonathan Blondel but he shot the ball off target. The Israeli also set-up another chance for Brugge 15 minutes into the second half when he placed a beautiful pass through to Maxime Lestienne who smashed the ball over the crossbar. The United Reserve's goal came from their Welsh striker Tom Lawrence in the 78th minute. Brugge go into next season having finished the previous one in 3rd place.
