Maccabi Tel Aviv have signed Spanish goalkeeper
Juan Pablo Colinas for next season. The signing comes after Maccabi lost patience with their current goalie Vincent Enyeama who was demanding more money if they wanted him to stay at the club. 34-year-old Colinas who has signed for Maccabi on a 1 year contract played the last 4 years at Sporting de Gijon in Spain where he played 120 games for the club. In his first 3 years at Sporting de Gijon Colinas played in the La Liga (Spanish Premier League) but at the end of the 2011/2012 season they were relegated to the Segunda Division (The Secoond Division) and finished last season 10th in table. Earlier in his career Colinas also played in the La Liga for Depoortivo Alaves and CD Numancia. " I am happy to join Maccabi Tel Aviv and i hope to do all i can to help this team succeed", said Colinas, " I've heard that this is an amazing team and that Tel Aviv is a great place to live". Maccabi's sporting manager Jordi Cruyff also had some words to say about the deal: "We are happy to add a player to our team that has played in the top flight of Spain. I am sure that Juan Pablo can help us reach our targets for next season".

Maccabi Tel Aviv have also signed Israel U-21 national team defender
Omri Ben Harush from Maccabi Netanya. 2.2 million shekel will be payed to Netanya as a transfer fee. Ben Harush became the 6th player to move to Maccabi this summer along with Tal Ben Haim, Omri Altman, Dan Einbinder,
José Manuel Jiménez Ortiz and Juan Pablo Colinas.

Beitar Jerusalem's new owner Eli Tabib has sacked Youth Team manager Serhiy Tretyak. 50-year-old Tretyak who himself played for the club 239 times as a defender and also appeared twice for the Ukrainian national team, was fired after the Youth Team didn't have a very successful season. Tretyak is just one of many coaches and officials at the club who have been fired since Tabib took over.
